Monday Poker Night

1. Age restriction

Participation is strictly limited to people aged 18 or over. Date of birth supplied through this website does not constitute proof of age. Pulse operates Challenge 25 and acceptable photographic identification may be required before participation.

2. Event organiser and venue

Monday Poker at Pulse is organised, hosted and supervised by Mason Chay Line-Maxwell / Crazzed Gaming. Pulse Bars Limited, trading as Pulse Bar Southend, provides the licensed hospitality venue and promotes the event. Pulse is not a casino, poker club or licensed gambling premises.

3. Game format and stakes

The regular game is recreational Texas Hold'em poker. The maximum stake/buy-in is £5 per player per game. £5 is a maximum rather than a guaranteed fixed amount and the individual stake may be reduced where necessary to remain within applicable limits.

4. No additional gaming charges

There is no separate participation, registration, administration or admission fee for taking part in the poker game. No rake, commission or percentage is deducted from player stakes or winnings for Pulse, Crazzed Gaming or another commercial party.

5. One life only

The advertised format is one life only. Unauthorised rebuys, top-ups, additional stakes, cash games and side games are not permitted.

6. Fair play and conduct

Players must behave fairly and respectfully. Cheating, collusion, abusive or threatening behaviour, deliberate disruption or attempts to circumvent applicable gaming limits will not be tolerated. The event host may make reasonable decisions necessary to administer the game and maintain fair play.

7. Venue rules

Normal Pulse Bar policies remain in force throughout the event, including Challenge 25, responsible alcohol service, customer conduct, safety, safeguarding, refusal of service and removal from the premises. Registering interest or participating in poker does not guarantee admission or continued service.

8. Responsible gambling

Poker should be treated as entertainment. Only participate with money you can afford to lose. Neither Pulse nor Crazzed Gaming guarantees that a participant will win money or a prize.

9. Enquiries and registration of interest

Submitting this website form is free and optional. It does not enter you into a poker game, reserve a seat or form part of any poker stake or prize. Event enquiries are passed to Mason / Crazzed Gaming to deal with directly.

10. Personal information

Pulse Bars Limited collects the information submitted through this form for event administration, age-screening and enquiry management. Your registration/enquiry details are shared with Mason / Crazzed Gaming so that the event organiser can respond and administer the event. Crazzed Gaming must not use information received from Pulse for unrelated marketing without an appropriate lawful basis. Pulse marketing is optional and requires separate consent.

11. Changes and cancellation

Individual events may be changed, suspended or cancelled. The game format, starting time, permitted stake or operational arrangements may be changed where reasonably necessary for legal, licensing, regulatory, safety or attendance reasons.

12. Venue control

Crazzed Gaming is responsible for organising, hosting and supervising the poker game. Pulse Bars Limited retains normal management, safety and licensing control of its premises and may suspend or stop activity where reasonably necessary for legal, licensing, safety or regulatory reasons.
